One of my favourite book chat books this year is ‘Don’t Follow Vee’, a brilliant book by Oliver Phommovanh. It is in the family and friendships genre, and has an excellent storyline about the relationship between a girl and her mum. When the girl(Vee) was born, her mum had started taking photos of her and posting the photos on Instagram. This continued for years. At last, because Vee’s Instagram life was impacting on her normal life, she made a plan to stop her mum on posting the photos. I enjoyed this book because it was extremely interesting and the whole book all connected together.
